Cable Layers

A cable layer or cable ship is a deep-sea vessel designed and used to lay underwater cables for telecommunications, electric power transmission, or other purposes.

With Thrustmaster’s main offices in Houston, Texas, the heart of the offshore and energy industry, it is only natural that our thrusters are often used in offshore construction applications like platform installation, pipelay, subsea manifold and riser installation, cable lay, bridge construction, dredging, and many more applications.
