Thrustmaster of Texas, Inc., a world leader in the design and manufacture of marine thruster systems, announces the following promotions in its top level operations management.
Jason Small, M.Sc.Mar.E., has been promoted to General Manager. Mr. Small, a graduate of Texas A&M with a B.Sc. in Marine Engineering, served as Engineering Manager at Thrustmaster for the past six years.
Venkat Mudupu, PhD has been promoted to Engineering Manager. Dr. Mudupu has been with Thrustmaster for over five years and is a specialist in design of control systems for propulsion and dynamic positioning applications for marine and aerospace applications. Dr. Mudupu has a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he conducted research on feedback control, adaptive and fuzzy logic, and non-linear control systems.
Marcela Pineda, BSME has been promoted to Projects Director. Ms. Pineda has been working as a Project Manager at Thrustmaster and is a seasoned professional having started in the oil and gas business in 1998 with FMC Technologies. Ms. Pineda has a strong background in commercial, contract and risk management, international business, and logistics.
Greg Ault was advanced to Chief Financial Officer for the company. Mr. Ault has over 20 years of financial management experience with increasing levels of responsibility, mainly in the heavy equipment industry. Mr. Ault joined Thrustmaster in 2008 as Controller.
Aaron Cooley, B.Sc. Economics, J.D., UT at Austin has been promoted to Director of Support Services taking on the administrative support and service departments. Mr. Cooley came to Thrustmaster with broad experience in large mission critical team management as former VP Estimating and VP Strategy & Technology and General and Senior Council at Global Industries.
