The split duct-reversing bucket provides excellent high thrust reverse maneuverability. This is power operated by a high force, 12VDC actuator, thereby eliminating hydraulics. Feather light follow up control is achieved through the position sensing control box operated by 33C type cable.
Quick Release Inspection CoverThe Inspection Cover is outboard mounted and simply retained using a spring loaded slide bolt. This means quick release operation requiring no tools, without the risk of flooding. The cover itself is tethered to the waterjet with stainless wire so that is cannot be lost.
Transom MountingThe unit is installed using Thrustmaster’s proven quick and simple transom mounting method. This results in less intrusion into valuable inboard space, allowing more compact machinery arrangements further aft in the boat. Thrustmaster can also offer compact coupling systems.
The 100 Series waterjets are constructed from strong, corrosion resistant and corrosion compatible materials. The stainless steel impeller is a one-piece casting, housed in a stainless steel liner. The intake ducting, impeller casing, and discharge nozzle complete the pump housing and are all manufactured from aluminium. The steering and reverse ducting are also manufactured from aluminium.
A modular construction is used for simplicity of assembly and ongoing maintenance. This minimizes the need for special tools to remove these components.
The 100 Series waterjets feature single stage axial pump designs, optimized to deliver high volume thrust, superior cavitation resistance, enhanced load-carrying ability together with excellent top speed performance. Each model has a comprehensive range of different impeller types to ensure correct matching to all engine and gearbox combinations.
The 100 Series waterjets can be installed as single, twin or triple jets in fiberglass, aluminium or steel hulls. They can also be supplied as booster jets.
